When you use the Save functionality (Web App) or the share funtionality (Web App & Mobile App), the data of your Fort is saved on a backend Service
called Gamesparks. Gamesparks is a US company that belongs to the Amazon family.
When performing the save or share, a so-called Device Authentication Request is performed which is required in order to use the Gamesparks service.
When this authentification request is done, the following data is transmitted and saved:
- A platform-specific string that uniquely identifies the device making the connection.
- The player's location - country, city, latitude and longitude - determined from the IP address that they have connected from is recorded.
